Get The Best Jeans For Your Shape
We all love our jeans, so much so that most of us will have shed a fashionable tear when our favourite pair went out of fashion. Jeans as an item will always be fashionable but whether the style guru's dictate that we must wear skiny jeans, bell bottoms, high waists or straight cut, one thing's for sure, you've got to chose a pair that suits your shape.
Slim or Athletic
Well you're lucky or you work hard at it, but as a result pretty much any shape jeans will suit you, however, be smart. If your legs are extremely thin don't accentuate them with drain pipe skinnies. I know a lot of young would be crane fly's are sporting this style but it looks ridiculous. A good fitted pair of straight leg jeans will make you look a million times better and far less reminiscent of Max Wall.

Pear Shaped (slim up top, curvy bottom half)
A shape I know all too well! Trust me girls, a lower cut waist and a kick flare will compliment your shape best and go for a slight stretch. If you're usually a 14, try a stretchy 12, curve hugging jeans will make you look slimmer than baggy or ill fitting ones. On a side note... accentuate your waist, youre lucky, you've got one, so wear tight(ish) t-shirts or tops that are tailored to the waist.

Apple - (round tummy & skinny legs)
So you've got fab legs but are dogged by a bulkier midrif. Simple... wear floatier tops which don't cling to your middle and throw on a pair of straight leg, kick flare or skinny jeans - the choice is yours.

Voluptuous (size 16+)
No matter what you think, the philosophy of hiding your curves under baggy clothes will NOT work. Being voluptuous is not a bad thing and you should flaunt your ample curves correctly. Think of Kirsty Alsopp. Does she ever look swamped? No, she looks elegant because she opts for a more tailored and fitted style. Not that I've ever seen her in jeans but If she were to wear a pair I would recommend a stretch boot cut or bell bottom to balance out proportions.

Petite
The biggest problem for the more petite frame is to avaid swamping yourself in yards of fabric or looking like a 10 year old. The same rules apply for the previous body shapes just be careful with lower volume, you don't want to look wider than your height by wearing too wide a jean. Try a high waist to elongate your middle... and wear heels even if they are just a couple of inches, it's amazing how much a little height in the heel can elongate your pins.
